 sikszene seiner Geburtsstadt Chicago prägte Jake La Botz. Auf seinen Reis
 en durch die USA lernte er das Leben der ärmeren Klassen kennen\, arbeite
 te in Fabriken und lernte Gitarre spielen.Zurück in Chicago freundete er 
 sich mit einigen Größen der lokalen Bluesszene an und perfektionierte se
 in Spiel. Schließlich kam La Botz nach Los Angeles\, wo er in Clubs\, Bar
 s und Tattoo-Studius spielte und die Aufmerksamkeit einiger Independent Fi
 lmemacherInnen erregte. Er stand u. a. mit Stars wie Sylvester Stallone\, 
 Steve Buscemi\, Scarlett Johansson\, Willem Dafoe und Mickey Rourke vor de
 r Kamera. Jake La Botz\, der "Midnight Songster"\, präsentiert Mississipp
 i Blues Rock\, wie er für seine Heimat New Orleans typisch ist: voller Se
